With the fall celebrations out in full swing, Rose walked along the side of the route dirt path alongside her Chansey. There wasn't a long line of grunts that needed them or their Pokemon to be treated for a change, and it made for a nice break in the busier days inside of their temporary HQ since Sootopolis was raided. "A shame Maki was a bit too busy to come. But I'm sure that she's off somewhere with better things to do." Rose said aloud while hearing some of the tall grass in the fields rustle at them passing by. Maybe it was just wild Pokemon running about as usual, but something appeared to be following them. [break][break]

The peaceful day had gone from careless to putting Rose on edge as whatever was rustling had continued to tail behind them. Even Medicia had to look to her trainer in worry at one point, as if she had the answers to what the strange thing was. Eventually, Rose turned on a heel and looked behind her at the grass. Her expression forced itself to look as intimidating as possible. A feat that seemed almost impossible for this malleable doctor. "I don't know what are you, b-but you better come out now! Before I take this as a sign of wanting a fight!" [break][break]

The rustling stopped and silence grew in the air around them. Rose had went from a feigned confidence back into a retreated, worried woman who was beginning to question if calling out a pursuer was a wise decision... [break][break]

He needed to play catch up, that was for sure. He was tired and losing and while he could train all he wanted unless he upped his team he was probably going to keep losing. Though the hardest thing was trying to find pokemon of interest. Raziel wanting to copy his mentor and seek out pokemon with a toxic chain, yet encountering them? A lot more difficult than he thought it would be. He's found a few but it wasn't enough if he wanted to be on par. [break][break]

For now he follows his litten in the area in where he was told another Rocket was there also in search of pokemon. A way to meet others within their team and for the two grunts to help each other in their hunts. Litten begins to run forward seemingly having caught a sent of something. Though at the threat Raziel can't help but pause but his litten doesn't as its the only thing that comes out of the large grass at first. [break][break]

"Woah woah calm down!" he calls out from inside the grass, "We're not much of a threat," well they could be but Raziel had no ill intentions to anyone currently.

The sudden voice coming from nearby had brought a sense of relief wash over Rose, though her embarrassment had caused some color to rush towards her cheeks. The woman's eyes widened at the sight of a man and his Litten walking out from the bushes. "O-Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't know it was a trainer following me! This whole war's put me on edge..." The soft woman let out a tired exhale, while the Chansey by her person would offer out a friendly chirp at Razz and his companion. "My name is Rose. I'm a doctor that was working nearby and needed a break." A gentle, warm smile graced her lips as she addressed the man. "It's wonderful to-" [break][break]

A Mr. Mime appeared out of the brush with a stern cry, facing Razz and lashing out against the two with a POUND! Rose went for the closest pokeball to her side, throwing out Majesty to the field. The Bounsweet plopped down onto the ground with a sweet voice while Rose jumped into action. "H-Hey! Cut that out!" The Bounsweet bounced forward into battle, launching sharpened leaves at the other Pokemon with RAZOR LEAF. Pelted with projectiles that cut through her body, the Mr. Mime backed away from Razz, trying to defend itself to the best of its ability. Once it had been damaged enough, Rose took out an empty capsule. [break][break]

"Pokeball, go!" The device sailed through the air towards the Mr. Mime before smacking her in the midsection and capturing her body inside of the pokeball. As it shook from side to side, the doctor rushed down to Razz. "Are you alright? It didn't hurt you, did it?" [break][break]

It seems his litten's ruckus had been a bother to multiple pokemon the first a Mr. Mime to jump out at him in surprise. Had he been more healed he might have been able to avoid it but he still wasn't at 100%. The best he can do is raise his left arm to try and protect himself as the pound knocks him down in pain. His right arm unable to catch himself due to the nerve damage. Thankfully the other comes to his aide on getting the Mr. Mime off him but that wasn't the only pokemon out for his blood his litten's transgressions. [break][break]

A brambleghast also making itself known as it seemed to try and attack as well, but with a FIRE FANG it's knocked back. Before it could have a chance to recover the litten goes in front of their trainer and uses FLAMETHROWER leaving the bush to burn before Raziel uses a Pokeball to make sure it was no longer a problem. [break][break]

He groans for a small moment in some pain be eventually he shakes his head at the other, "No I'll be alright," he offers before his bulbasaur wraps his arms with it's whips before helping their trainer up knowing the young man's hand wasn't useful. He gives a small thanks as he rubs the arm where the pound hit. "Its no big I've had worse," he lightly chuckles as he shows off his right hand and arm where he still had some lichtenberg scars on his forearm and the burn on his palm from where the lightning left his body weeks ago. [break][break]

It was nice to see that the man was in pretty good shape! Rose watched him make small work of the spare living tumbleweed that had attempted to attack him, quite impressed by his handling of his Pokemon. When he introduced himself, she smiled at the man. "I'm Rose, one of the doctors that work in the town nearby. It's nice to meet you, Raziel. This is one of my Pokemon, Majesty." The Bounsweet let out a cheery chirp at Razz with one of her leaves. "You must be quite the Pokemon trainer to handle yourself like that. At least better than us. I'm trying to find more to join my team so I can protect myself at least. Most of my team aren't exactly...battle ready. Do you mind tagging with us? I don't really think I can-" [break][break]

Just as she said that, a large shadow from the ground rose up behind her, as a large Dusknoir appeared before the two. It let out a deep, voidsent cry as the ghost rushed at Rose. Bounsweet was quick to jump in the way of the attack, taking the full force of the punch aimed at her owner. It sent the grass type bounding away while Rose gasped. "Majesty!" she called out, looking back at her KO'd Pokemon. She recalled it with a troubled expression and threw out her Mimikyu. "I'll get you for that!" The Mimikyu was quick to jump right into the action, going to rush at the Dusknoir with a very viscous PLAY ROUGH. Creepy bounded all around the opponent, using its trickster nature to go about damaging the other ghost type. [break][break]

The attack had been super effective and left the Dusknoir befuddled on the ground before them. Rose threw another pokeball at the Pokemon, hoping to add it to her roster. "C'mon, please..." [break][break]

At the name and occupation he gives a nod, so this was the woman he was searching for that Rocket had asked him to help. Made this whole thing easier, though it's only too late when he realizes that he probably should've had his disguise on before he confirmed his target. Oh well, "I've been training with Underboss Beckett since I was a kid so I'd hope I'm decent," he chuckles at the compliment, he was about to answer her request simply enough before another pokemon comes to the forefront. [break][break]

The Dusknior coming in for the attack and taking the doctor's bounsweet. Raziel giving a whistle and his Litten is already jumping into action going in to strike the ghost pokemon with it's TOXIC SWING before the doctor comes in and her mimikyu finishes it off with a PLAYROUGH. He watches as she throws the pokeball and he seems pleased with her performance. [break][break]

"Underboss Beckett, hm? I've never heard of them, but I-I'm sure their reputation is well earned." Rose found the idea of an unknown Rocket boss rather alarming, as it usually was followed by a list of reasons not to get on their bad side. Regardless, it was probably for the best that she only hear the name and not need to learn the face of it given her profession. "I've been learning how to hold me own as well. N-Not as much as you, mind you, but enough to defend myself." A nervous laugh escaped her while glancing all around to ensure that nothing would sneak up on them again. [break][break]

The Mimikyu's eyes wandered close to other ghost-type wandering around the area. With a sudden flash of its eyes, the ghost type honed in on the lavender swordsman Pokemon who was a short distance away, minding its own business. Creepy shuffled over towards the fellow ghost type with his claws at the ready to scratch and clash into bite sized pieces. The Ceruledge readied itself as the two engaged in a battle of the spooky variety. "Oh, dear. Hold on just one moment." Rose faced the Mimikyu again while battling his opponent. "SHADOW CLAW, Creepy!" The Mimikyu raised both claws and brought them down onto the Ceruledge's body, crushing it with its sheer force. Rose followed up with another Pokeball throw and waited to see if it would remain incapacitated. [break][break]

"I'll be fine! I was in Petalburg and...I've been through worse is all! B-But thank you for your concern." [break][break]

The scared man couldn't help but look with complete bewilderment. "Do you... Do you not know your higher ups?" he can't help but question completely thrown off by her statement. So much so that he doesn't notice the Espeon seeming to try to come on them as if they were prey. Luckily his pokemon were far more attentive as his litten attacks and chomps down with a fire fang. The noise being the only thing that calls his attention to the battle again as he whistles an order and has the eeveelution finished off with a toxic swing before he attempts to capture it with a pokeball. [Break][break]

By the time his attention was back on her he was just observing as she and her mimikyu handled the sword pokemon. She could use some refining in his opinion but she didn't seem as bad as she made herself out to be. Petalburg..." he repeats as he tries to recall what he was told happened there. "I heard that there was taken care of more like the old Kanto way of things," he comments and wondered what was the difference between them and now considering the power scaling had changed so much. "My apologies. I-I've been busy since I've arrived at Hoenn. So I haven't exactly met all of the admins and important people yet." Still the ever clueless soul, Rose gave Razz a genuinely sincere look as she had fully missed the hints to the whereabouts and identity of Underboss Beckett. That same "fish out of water" look the uninitiated gave while being hazed by a larger group. But the situation's awkwardness was broken as both their attackers showed themselves to both of the grunts present. [break][break]

Once they had a moment to breathe, Rose walked over to collect the pokeball containing her new Ceruledge. The hardest part of getting a new pokemon was thinking of a name, given her real inability to find a cool name like other Rockets. Pushing some doubts out of her mind, she sighed and glance over at a shape bouncing along in the distance. Creepy had his eyes set on it and shuffled off in search of another good fight. That gave her some time to speak with her partner in this venture. [break][break]

"Thank you. I wish I c-could have done more for our initial wave into Petalburg. I could only really help clean up the people who weren't so lucky..." Her thoughts went onto the other grunt she had found while scouring the war-torn streets in search of her missing pokemon, Madeline McKenna. They had only really just gotten on the level of familiarity that came from serving in combat, but Rose felt awful for how much the other woman had clearly been pushing things back from her. Some crazy part of her wanted to try and play therapist to ease that mind of hers. That bleeding heart that always got her into trouble. [break][break]

But people like Madeline always had a tendency to push any help away.[break][break]

From the distance, Creep had been fighting with the Jellicent in the distance when a well timed SHADOW STRIKE had fallen the ghost-type. Rose took aim and tossed out a pokeball at the Jellicent before turning her attention back to Razz.[break][break]

"I guess we're all still recovering from that in our own way. Some more than others. Were you there to see the full brunt of it? I heard from some of my p-patients that things were quite rough..."

"I suppose I could understand that a bit, I've only been around two months myself... sort of," because that was all he could remember of being here in Hoenn, "And while higher ups might be too busy for you to meet it would be a good idea to at least know their names even if you don't have a face to put it to, I can help if you'd like," he offers as he would rather not have the other grunt get in trouble for such a thing. He pauses as he makes a questionable face, would they even get in trouble for such a thing?[break][break]

Hoenn Rocket was too confusing for him.[break][break]

He gives a simple shrug to her contributions, "Got to play to your strengths, and being able to depend on a healer helps more than I think you realize," he tells her as a lunatone floats by, this time his Bulbasaur takes handle on things to ensure that it if valued it's health that it would keep away. All to ensure that the other's mimikyu could fight uninterrupted and allow the other grunt a chance to capture the jellyfish pokemon. [break][break]

"Uhhh... that's a little complicated... I told I was helping in Sootopolis and then I was struck by a lightning attack," he tells her as he rolls up the sleeve on his right arm and shows her the lichtenberg figures that ran down his arm before showing her the scar that was left over from where the lightning exited his body from the palm of his hand. "Aside from some nerve damage it also effected my memory and unfortunately the past 6 years are a blank for me now, so I don't know the damages from the fight, but I have taken part in the war in Kanto so I can imagine"
